Choosing the right colors is important when choosing your attire for certain occasions. If you have various colors that are not complimentary or of the same color family, you could end up looking like a clown. No one wants that so the first thing you need to understand is the color wheel and it will help you choose the right shades and colors to compliment your features or to portray your character.

So You're Afraid to Use a Baitcaster Reel
Are you scared to use a baitcaster reel? Have you heard of all the benefits of using one but don’t want to deal with a rats nest? I was the same way but once I used it, I will never go back to any other style of reel. They are amazing and it makes me wonder why it took me so long to get one. It also makes me question the rest of my life decisions (just kidding).

Honesty in Leadership
Being an honest leader can work wonders more than you can imagine. You may ask yourself; how can I be honest with some individuals? You may be saying, “I can’t be honest if it hurts someone’s feelings”. If you aren’t honest with people, it will eventually hurt your team more and the goal you are trying to accomplish. Not only it will hurt the individual or individuals by preventing them from learning and working on their personal growth. Before we get into it, lets me tell you the first thing you need to do.

Train Your Replacement
I have noticed in the work force over the many years and several different positions and departments I have worked in, that people love to have job security. People want to have guaranteed hours and their position. This creates security and enables them to ease their mind knowing what they can expect to be doing day in and day out and what they can expect in compensation for the work performed. Most people get comfortable and they like comfortable. Are you one that is in the continuous comfort loop running on auto pilot just getting through the monotony of the day? If you are, I have bad news for you. You will not get anywhere, and you are more likely to get replaced sooner or later. You may already experience lack of fulfillment in your work. You are not growing. You can spot a trend with individuals that are stuck in the loop. Eventually they will transfer to a different department where it will eventually turn into another loop, or they may quit or get fired. You may feel you are stuck in that loop. There is a way out and I will tell you the best way to remove yourself from this tiring cycle.

Bass Fishing in Spring
During the spring the bass activities change. Their behavior becomes defensive and aggressive as they should be nestled in their spawning grounds and be in full spawning mode although not all bass spawn at the same time. They usually spawn when water temperatures reach 55 to 70 degrees (f) but typically when the water temperature is a steady 60 degrees (f). They make their beds generally on a hard surface in the shallows. When the female bass lay eggs in their beds the male fertilize it will guard it from any intruder until they hatch. The female will move to another bed and lay more eggs. Bass generally do not make their nests within roughly 30ft of direct vision from another. Sometime there are nesting beds closer to each other than 30ft but the direct vision is broken up by an underwater structure. Look for back waters, coves, points, or calm waters along the shore.

New Year, New Password
New Year, New Password It has only been a couple minutes passed the New Year, and I decided to leave the party. I wanted to make sure that I had adequate rest for the “new year, new me” resolutions that I had made prior to the New Year. I was excited to make these changes and couldn’t wait to begin. I opted not to partake in any drinking or substance use to ensure sobriety and did have to rely on the busy taxi schedules on the New Year holiday.

Prepare for Your Interview
Do you continuously go to interview after interview just to be denied? Do you feel like you may have to settle for less? Do you think there is something wrong with you? If so, I want to inform you that you don’t have to settle for less and there is nothing wrong with you. However, there may be something wrong with the way you prepare for the interview. I have interviewed hundreds of potential candidates over my 10 years of management, and I have been able to recognize if someone is going to work out or not. There are certain things I look for and I can tell if someone has come prepared. These things will not guarantee you will be hired but they could dramatically increase your chances.
