That feeling of exaltation as you show off your new treasures to anyone who will listen.

Santa and Krampus were playing their regular Friday night poker game. Santa was down a couple of thousand dollars. He couldnβt figure out how he was losing when he had some pretty good hands, but Krampus would win with a slightly better hand each time. Just this last hand, Santa had 3 Queens and was sure heβd win, but no, Krampus won that hand with four deuces. Santa was broke and out of a bankroll but still wanted to gamble. So, knowing better, he still suggested a final hand.

How to Build a Snowman
Put on your warmest coat, gloves, knitted hat, and scarf Go outside once dressed Find a large, flat area of snow. Pack the snow into a large ball for the body. Roll the ball around until it is round and smooth. Make a smaller ball for the head. Place the head on top of the body. Add two small buttons for the eyes. Add a carrot for the nose. Add two larger buttons for the mouth. Give your snowman your hat and scarf. Place two sticks for arms on your snowman. Enjoy your snowman! Go inside and warm up with hot cocoa. Never bring your snowman inside or give him hot cocoa.

Marcus and Nanette were excited. They had received a letter from their Mimi that she was coming for Christmas. The note said that she would be there on Christmas Eve. Their parents had helped them count down the days till Mimi was to arrive. On the day she was to come, the children dressed in their finest clothes and waited for Mimi to arrive.
