As Jake Wilson stepped out of his car, the bitter cold nipped at his nose. He raised his coat collar and glanced around. The small town was eerily quiet except for the sound of snow crunching under his feet. His destination was the local hospital where he hoped to gather some leads on a recent series of murders that had been terrorizing this otherwise tranquil community.
