Stoke The Positivity
Introduction I do have major problems with self-doubt and every day something tells me to destroy my friendships and burn everything I have written, and every day I fight this and win. I do find it strange that my imposter syndrome and self-doubt mean that when one person denigrates my work it hurts a lot, when people I once considered friends completely ignore my work while continually championing others that hurts as well.

River Of Song
Intro When I did my “Runaway Train” playlist (see the end of this one) I was really surprised at how many songs there were called “Runaway Train” and I do like to put things together with a theme, and a friend of mine loves the Joni Mitchell song “River”, so I wondered could I put together a playlist of songs that have the word “River” in the title.

Introduction Scott Walker was the definition of a true artist. He was a huge influence on David Bowie and many others with an amazing voice as you can hear on the Walker Brothers records but it was when he left the band and Scott Engel / Walker started treading musical paths that very few have trodden.

Some More Thoughts On My Writing Difficulties
Introduction Although I publish a lot on Vocal I do have difficulties in writing, and this generates a lot of anxiety in me. I am lucky enough to be able to pull ideas and subjects almost out of the ether, to actually create a Vocal story, while I never seem to hit a writer's block I do seem to continually have the anxiety that goes with that.

Do Something
Introduction I keep seeing people saying that they are bored, nothing else, just they are bored. I can get bored myself, sometimes I have to do things that are boring but I try to find ways to make them interesting. I could just write a list and submit it to Vocal as a poem because one hundred words is not difficult to write, but I always make things harder for myself.

A White Poppy
I am not sure what made me write this, It came to me as I was out walking. I have missed Remembrance Sunday but it seems the world is constantly at war. Imagine what could be done if the resources ploughed into destruction were put into building and eradicating hunger and poverty.
