The Numbers
This is a follow-up to “The Typewriter” that you can read here. He was sure that the typewriter was some kind of oracle and had given him six lottery numbers which he had used for his lottery ticket entry. He didn't play often but always only bought one, because only one set of numbers can win a lottery draw. He never watched the draw but preferred to check his numbers in the Sunday paper, he could never understand how people bought tickets and then watched the live draw.

The Typewriter
Looking through the junk in the house clearance, he wondered what it was. The only keyboard he had ever seen was virtual, on his phone, tablet and computer. He had never seen or even been aware of physical keys but this was an odd contraption with physical keys and he set it on a table.

Cloudfall III
This is the conclusion of my series "Cloudfall" In The House It was now a waiting game. Would the plans get to the right people and would I manage to survive the gangs that heard in the street? I just keep growing stuff in the garden and hoped that something good would happen.

Cloudfall II
This is a continuation of my story "Cloudfall" I went to bed, hoping to sleep but could hear windows being smashed along the street, hoping that my house would not be a target. It was like this every night and I really did not know how long I could go on like this.

Cloudfall
It’s been like this for over a year, I’m in the house, windows all boarded up and the door as fast as I can make it. Luckily they just tried to kick it down but it’s too strong for that. A couple of times I think Molotov cocktails have been thrown but the planks on the windows are more than good enough for that.

Dance Of The Nights
The Apartment The apartment was very cheap to rent and in a great area. THEY were surprised to get it, although the estate agent told them that for some reason people only stayed there for a couple of months at the most, and were surprised it wasn’t a holiday let. The owners wanted longer-term tenants however they were prepared to let it at a well below market price.
