As The World Caves In. Content Warning.
The day started as any other- sun shining, partly cloudy sky, not too warm yet not too cool; ideal early September weather. Just like many other people, I wasn't exactly interested in listening to the news out of knowing that I was just going to be angered and saddened by the current state of affairs within my country. I'm sure that most people right now are either trying to convince themselves that this is all going to be over in another- it doesn't matter, not anymore. The emergency broadcast system sent an alert- it just came through not even a minute ago that we have been attacked, though, the bomb hasn't landed yet. There is nothing we can do, and there was no warning- the enemy struck first, and without so much as an indication of doing so.

Gravity
There is something special about the kind of love that we have. It's the kind of love that people spend their whole lives looking for, and rarely find. The lucky few that do, are the richest people in the world despite what their monetary situation may be.

Mercury
I was born with a different name, one that I don't identify with and haven't for a very, very long time. I won't give my reasons why I don't agree with my name, because it honestly isn't any of your business and doesn't matter in this story. Anyways, when I was younger, my name felt like an ocean, something I was drowning in. I guess I can attribute that to the anxiety I would drown in when I heard it being called.

Creep
Dear beloved, I don't know what made me fall in love with you, for there are so many things that drew ne to you. It might have been your eyes, the way their sea bluish green depths glittered with amusement and humor as you listened to the joke your friend was telling you. It could have been the tattoos that were hiding beneath the sleeves and collar of the deep, forest green turtleneck you were wearing. Then again, it may have been your long, black hair that gently brushed your shoulders. No, it was definitely your smile; how it seemed crooked and full of hidden humor.

Disease. Content Warning.
At first, you thought it was the zombie apocalypse. People began rotting; their skin beginning to fall off and rot, also, the smell of these people was terrible. Some were alive with maggots feeding on their flesh. Their teeth began falling out, and some had hunger for the rotting flesh of others like them. It's disturbing to watch. However, there are different kinds, because the disease effects people differently. All have one thing in common; their brain is the first thing to rot, or seems to be the part of the body where the disease begins, and spreads.

Yellow Jacket
1986 July 12 There was no sleep to be had last night; my excitement, impatience, and anticipation kept me awake. I wonder what songs will be played, what kind of atmosphere there will be. It's my first concert, and what better way to pop my concert cherry than with Queen. I drink my second cup of coffee and watch the sun come up as I sit in my kitchen; wondering what the day will bring. It's not the warmest, but it's not too cold either. Not a cloud in the sky, a nice breeze, and the beautiful sun; a perfect day for a concert. I decide to wear a tee shirt, jeans, and white adidas tennies. Going for a walk to settle my nerves sounds like a great idea, and I have plenty of time before the concert starts, but I decide that making the walk to Wembley now wouldn't hurt anything. Before I leave my flat, I pocket my wallet, ticket, and keys; I plan on grabbing a snack on my way there, and I know that I won't be back before the concert begins. I lock up behind me, and I begin the long walk to Wembley; stopping briefly at the first food shop I come across for breakfast.

Flash
5 4 3 2 1 BOOM! There was bright light, followed by an impossibly loud noise, and then there were the screams. A terrible thing happened, and even though there were many not involved, all would suffer in some way. Some died because of the blast, others died due to the effects of radiation poisoning, and others, from undiagnosed cancers. Now, we look back on it as one of the largest mistakes humanity has ever made. One miscalculation, and- BOOM! Desolation, fear, pain, and suffering, cause by human error. We are our own downfall.

Tee Shirts and Conversations
"You like the Misfits?" I was wearing an old misfits tee shirt the day you asked me that question, and had I done that on purpose? To be honest, I can't remember, but I'm sure that I did. I wanted you to talk to me, why I couldn't say, but you captivated me somehow. It might have been your sleeves of tattoos, or the Nightmare on Elm Street hoodie you would wear when it was cold; I'm not sure anymore. All I know is, the conversation that ensued was the best thing that ever happened to me.
