Mental Health Matters
What am I passionate about? .. What am I passionate about? I take a sip of coffee and begin to daydream. I'm passionate about so many things! I love to paint and cook and, oh, coffee! Coffee is one of the best physical experiences in the world. How can I write a compelling argument about something that's already been done more times and in more ways than I can count on my fingers and toes? Coffee may bring me joy but I don't think it's my ideal start-up.. I drift back in to my original inner monologue as I mull the idea over again.

Through the Fire
My mom is anything but average; she's a lover of psychology with a deeply held desire to be a part of the medical world, she's strong and independent to a fault, she's an autism parent who has seen it all. Most importantly, she showed me what it means to truly be selfless in love.

We called it intimacy.
Your eyes missed mine as we tried to climb the grape vine that grew from the family tree. We called it intimacy. Communicatively free yet unable to see the WE that I had accepted us to be. Unable to see the perfection that you meant to me.

Vulnerability
It is the act of being seen. It's clear to me that hiding your true colors is a form of emotional tyranny.- A flutter of orange represents my soul. Unable to fit the mold. Reminiscent a time of innocent growth.
