I am a person who really likes to read and write and to share what I learned with all my education. My page will mainly be book reviews and critiques of old and new books that I have read and will read. There will also be other bits, too.

Once upon a time....
Once upon a time in a classroom almost like this one there sat a teddy bear on the windowsill. This teddy was owned by a little boy that was brought in for show and tell. He shared the teddy bear's name with the class for the bear helped him with his reading. The little boy liked to read to the bear. The little boy left the bear for use for another day and share with his friends. The little when passing the school that late afternoon he told the bear be good and sleep tight. See you tomorrow, Teddy Bear.

Don't know?
I sent an email to Justin at Creatd and in that email I asked, 'What I did to do to be not allowed to comment.' I am not sure how long I will not be able to comment on stories, articles and poems. I am leaving 'Insights' on everything I read and likes. I know I mentioned only a few times the new site I work for, but that was just to share my good news with everyone. I really like writing and reading here on Vocal. I am still waiting to hear about this. I Will let you know.

Shakira
I am logged in and reading my notifications and when I went to read another story there was a notification by a SHAKIRA who seems to be just starting here signing in this current month and has 45 articles published already. I think Vocal should hire someone to review new 'applicants'. Here is an idea that just might work. The online writing site that I wrote for a long time ago had a short application to fill out and for the owners to check out before letting anyone write there. For right now I think Vocal only has writers sign in with a username and password. Please share what you think.

When businesses read and subscribe
What do you do when you sign in and check how you did, and you notice in your notifications that there are businesses subscribed to you. I have a few and some even have been on since 2023 that even have a few articles posted. To be honest there were a few that did have some interesting articles, and I even left a comment sometimes. I no longer subscribe to them now though and skip right passed them on the list of notifications. Am I doing the right thing. I have deleted or reported when they left comments. Please comment.

What did I do wrong?
I do not know what I did wrong. I was reading and commenting on stories this morning, and now I signed in again and was going to comment, and there was a note saying 'you are unable to comment on this post due to a violation of the guidelines. Now, I admit I mentioned my new employment site, but the person wanted to know why I haven't been on Vocal for a while. I only did that maybe two times. So, it looks like I will not be a commentor for a while. Still able to read and write.

Who will face the darkness within?
We are all facing front as good little children do when the teacher says, "Faces front, class." But this is not school, and we are no longer in school sitting in neat rows or in small groups we are standing in a courtroom waiting to hear our destinies. We all have done various things that we have thought was thoughtless or cruel to one another, but who would ever think that it would actually catch up with us one day.

Happy Mother's Day
Dear Mom, How's everything up there? I wondering what you are thinking about on days such as this. You have your mom now to do you still say Happy Mother's Day to her. I still feel you and dad and Tim around me all the time whispering in my ear what to do from time to time especially when some decisions must be made.

The Courtroom
The audience and all present were on pins and needles. The judge is about to state the result. "I find the defendant Guilty on all charges of assault and weckless endangerment of a whole community. You, Morty Sidewinder, will be remanded to the state penitentiary for the next 15 to 20 years plus.....

The Courtroom
The judge has arrived. All may be seated. Will the defendants please rise. They rose from their chairs. This was a very long case during this long hot and humid summer. We were all tired, but we wanted to make sure that justice was brought for the victims of one heinous crime presented.
