Death by Chocolate
Licking the chocolate off the delicate teaspoon was not her most graceful moment. It certainly did not suit the old-world ambiance of the café, mimicking the style of Buckingham Palace. Large rectangular tables with white, ironed linen lined the walls. Golden, three-tiered cake stands and sugar-jewel confectionary teasing the pauper customers, as the lucky few indulged in their high tea. They nibbled at their miniature sandwiches like sidewalk pigeons.

Little Brown's Backyard Adventures
The morning mist and heavy wind banged against the barn like springtime thunder. The structure was not well built, but it did its job of protecting the equipment from the monsoon-like rains. The barn was about a hundred meters away from the house, but enough for the little brown snake to find warmth radiating from the ground. The little brown snake had been thrust into the world to slither alone. With nothing but instinct to find a warm place to lay, he found a small gap of chewed metal, teeth marks denting the aluminium.

Heart Shaped Apocalypse
Waking up was like a dream. Chain could never recall this sort of heaviness overwhelming her, like she was chained down by metal weights. She could not recall anything at all. This was the day of her ‘birth’ after all and she wanted nothing but to cry out to the faces glazed above her, staring in wonder.
