Vaccinating Children
Many lives are taken by diseases that could have been prevented if only they’d had the vaccination. Vaccinating children is important, because it keeps our society clear of diseases that were considered “extinct” before. Vaccines are the beginning step towards worldwide eradication for any disease.

Illegal Immigrants
Contrary to popular opinion, illegal immigrants are living among us and aren’t planning on leaving. The United States is a place a lot of people believe "dreams come true" because of the many opportunities our country has to offer. One of which is the ability to attend a form of higher education, further than just high school. Illegal immigrants should receive the same rates of college tuition because everyone deserves to go to college and they pay taxes just like the average American. For illegal immigrants, higher education has been an out of reach dream and it has been for a long time.

Sexual Harassment
Throughout the history of the United States, government officials have spoken about filthy things forgetting about the idea of political correctness entirely. Current president, Donald Trump, when referring to women has felt entitled to “grab ‘em by the pussy.” Some politicians have been corrected, yet to this day, some still continue to speak openly about their disgusting sexual desires that should clearly be kept to themselves. Women have dealt with suffrage far too long now to be constantly reminded that they aren’t respected for their individualism and viewed simply for their biological structures. Statements underestimating the impact of sexual assault/harassment are tolerated too much in our society and in our government.

You Know You’re Old When...
I feel ashamed to look at some of the kids shows I used to watch now because the animation is so bad. I miss when I was a kid and every character looked normal. I’m sure anyone over the age of 15 can agree with me on this. Here are a few of my pet peeves with today’s generation...

13 Reasons Why I Don't Watch '13 Reasons Why'
I'm sure that in some ways they thought this would prevent more suicides because it would share awareness. In all reality, it did the exact opposite. It made suicide famous and made mental disorder conditions worse. Here's why...

You Did It
Congratulations! You survived the last four years of prison... *cough* I mean, high school! Today is the day that you walk across the stage to get a piece of paper that basically holds the last four years of your life. I mean, come on, you'd think you would get a little more than a piece of paper. Like maybe an all-expense paid trip to the tropics to relax for the first time in 1,460 days, or some cash. I mean I'd even settle for a candy bar, just something more than a piece of paper. I love it when people congratulate me on graduating and I'm just like, "Yeah I went through four years of hell, stress, and tears for this one, single, piece of tree... totally worth it." Just kidding. Actually I'm not because I definitely think I should be receiving more than a piece of paper, but it is very important to graduate and it's a day you will always remember. So let's just take a moment and reminisce the past four years of your life.

Get Out
Don’t let anyone tell you that it’s okay. You do not deserve to be treated like an animal. You are independent. You have self worth. You deserve so much better. Do not let the abuse take away your life. Get out of that situation. Abuse can occur a variety of different ways. There’s sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse. No one is worse than the other. All are just as bad.

I'm Not the Pretty Girl. Top Story - May 2018.
Do you ever feel like you're not going to find your soulmate? I definitely know that feeling. I also know the feeling of thinking that you're not enough for someone. I know the feeling when your mom or dad says, "You would be one hell of a catch," but I know that I wouldn't be. I know the feeling of being crazy excited when you're finally talking to a hot guy and then you feel like you're worth something because someone like him wants you. I used to know these feelings. Not anymore.
