The Self Therapy Diaries
In the effort to save money and save my soul, I have officially decided that instead of holding everything in my head, I'm going to turn to writing out whats in there and no go to a therapist, because that's the healthy alternative to a broke b*tch who wants to get it all out there. I Lost My Job. And It's Your Fault, Not Mine.
It's hard for me to put into words how I feel. So, I wanted to give it shot with what I do best. Writing. About a week ago, I was furloughed from my job. Not just any job, but my dream job. A job at a company I thought nearly impossible to work for, in an industry that takes years and so much stress and so many tears, to become something in. To make yourself MATTER.

A Letter to the Town I Grew Up In
Small towns are the black holes that sit on Earth as we walk through life. They suck you into a mindset where having kids before 25 is required and moms fight their kids' fights against teenagers and dads are way too into the sports of a small town. Athletes are royalty to the town and the mean girls in school grow up to run a pyramid scheme of a job because they forgot what birth control is. Teachers at the school end up having generations of students in their classes and hearing the sentence “I had your mom and dad when they were high school” every year on the first day of school is nothing new. Kids who weren’t in sports or didn’t hang out with the ‘name brand’ kids were outcasts.

Remember to Breathe: "Knock Yourself Out" Review
Adel Toay started a pop-punk project called Remember To Breathe based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This project has had influences from some of the greats such as Blink-182 and Yellowcard, as well as the early 2000s pop punk and 90s emo music. They signed with Loud, Broke, & Dumb Records for their debut album Lessons on Getting Out and Growing Up which released on October 28, 2016. They have toured through the Midwest and opened up for notable rising acts such as Remo Drive, Belmont, Household, and many more. As an up and coming Midwest pop punk project, I suggest that you keep an eye out for them as there is a definite future ahead! They released their new single "Knock Yourself Out" on March 8, 2019.

Winning Billboard's “2018 Woman of The Year” award, a Grammy, and many more acclimations. With all of this, Ariana released her second album in six months, giving fans a total of five albums. Mike Stud: '4THEHOMIES' Album Review
With the announcement of The Final Tour, Mike Stud released what could be his final album. Mike originally planned to release this album as This Isn't the Album Part II as a follow up to This Isn’t the Album in 2015, but released 4THEHOMIES with 23 songs instead. I am a little late on this review, but after taking the time to sit down and listen to the album full-length, I thought I would share my opinion for the rest of you. Let’s get into it!

Her career is skyrocketing right now and she deserves to be recognized beyond the mere fact that her and Pete Davidson have split. She’s silently advocating for a positive mental state of mind and honing in on her womanhood, all while being independent working on getting better.

'Beerbongs and Bentley's' Review
Freshman album Stoney was released in 2016 and Post Malone fans have been PATIENTLY waiting for the sophomore album to drop. On April 27 their dreams came true. The wait is over and Beerbongs & Bentley's has finally been released. Personally, I waited for the album to drop to listen to it as soon as I could. BB&B exceeded my expectations and embodies the life of Post Malone after making a name for himself in the music world. He wanted to emphasize on his life and what he was actually going through. Fame and fortune isn’t what it chalks up to be. After speaking to some fans of Post, they were a little disappointed, but I would have to disagree whole heartedly with them. I think this is some of Malone’s best work as an artist and owns up to what his style truly is.

Bad Wolves: Zombie
On January 15, 2018 the world lost a beloved singer Dolores O’Riordan of the Cranberries. The Cranberries are most famously known for their chart-topping song "Zombie." "Zombie" was written about the trying times of violence in the UK and trying to make sense of the violence that surrounded the world at that time and times before then. Dolores wrote the song about two boys who were killed in the bombing in Warrington, England.

Logic: 'Bobby Tarantino II' Review. Top Story - March 2018.
After the success of his hit single "1-800-273-8255" ft. Alessia Cara and Khalid, there are a lot of expectations from the rapper for his following album Everybody. Everybody left some fans disappointed and others in awe. No one heard that Logic was going to drop a new album until just 48 hours prior to. Logic dropped his album Bobby Tarantino II on March 9, 2018 and I have listened to it three times through already. Logic takes us back to his mixtape days with an album that he describes as “An unapologetically fun project that balances wisdom and wit.” Bobby Tarantino was the work that Logic released after his album that took him to the charts The Incredible True Story, so Logic takes us back to the art that he was creating before pop rap took the charts. For those of you who don’t know, Bobby is one of Logic’s nicknames, so the mixtape is supposed to give us the synopsis of his life since Bobby Tarantino came about. Personally, I am a Logic fan and supporter, and I believe that he one of the most underrated rap artists in that genre of his time. I’ll take you through each song of the album and walk you through some lyrics that stood out to me. Enjoy!
