The winds of fate, so cruel and so cold, Bring with them diseases, so rare and untold. A burden so heavy, a pain so real, For those who are affected, a constant ordeal.
Whistled air through alps Crunch of leaves, cicadas sing Mother's melody
Sky of hazy lights The rivers in heaven dance Among the lanterns
Grapes, nature's nectar Frosted peel and stem, drips to Grant us honeyed lips
Spring mist feels far off The air now crisp will give way To warm breezy haze
Casket beneath soil But not my heart. 'Til then, I Knock for you again
The earth shakes. A field of soot covered sunflowers Fight to bloom again
Dad left, taking with Him all the air in the room Mom's flame, extinguished
Drowned in an ocean Of my own making, the tide Looked so inviting
Don't walk home alone Your spirit may burn bright, but Darkness will find you
What good are tears, they can't quench a plant's thirst, only sow seeds of sorrow
