The Language of Love
THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE (transcending culture) I visited my local post-office - inside the village council building - to buy a loaf of bread. (A centuries old law states that all people must have access to bread in France ) and so it can be bought in the post-office if necessary). In an office at the back of the reception area - sat our local mayor. He was busy doing some admin duties with the head of reception. Our major generally always has a strong presence in the village. If there is a fete - he is at the front of the assembling team - carrying a ladder, if there is extra farming to be done, he will be sitting up front on one of the tractors and most other times - he does admin with the receptionist. It's nice like that.
