The First Female Alpha
I was wondering the lone path, there was no way that the pack would ever accept me having a female lead beside me. I was the only child of my parents, who are the alpha and Luna of our pack. It just so happens that I being female everyone expected that I would choose a male mate. But that is just not the case as I am lesbian. I have always been attracted to the females of our pack. One problem… none of the females in my pack were into girls. I would always go out into the town and find a girl to have some fun with, usually out of towners. I just knew that there was never any chance in hell that the pack would accept this form of relationship to lead the pack. I felt doomed to mate with a male and never be happy with my place. I have contemplated leaving the pack so many times, but I know that I have a responsibility to my pack to lead them. And I know that this day is coming soon. I do not feel ready to take on all the other pack members’ ideals of the old pack mentality. There are so many things that I would like to change for our pack like the idea of not being able to be with someone of the same sex. I find this whole idea stupid. I was not sure that the pack knew that I was gay but they did know that I had never dated any of the eligible male members. No one dared ask me about it though. The only people in the pack that knew about me were my parents who were accepting and knew how I felt. They knew that I wished to change the pack mentality about different things. They are very supportive of the fact that I wanted to make some changes and to have another female lead beside me.

It was a blissful spring day in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, the birds were chirping, a light breeze in the air, the smell of all the new growth coming to bloom. Everything seemed near perfect... then she came into town and it was like a dark cloud blocked out the beauty.
