So cults are hard to understand. Sometimes a lot of them are more hidden than others. So what is a cult? What do they do? There are several categories or definitions of cults—here are some of the most common. A cult is a group of people that have come together because of unusual religious, spiritual, or philosophical beliefs. It can have a common interest in a particular personality, object, or goal. It's also a social group with socially deviant or odd beliefs and practices, although this is often unclear. There are some cults that arise spontaneously around beliefs and practices. An older definition of the term is a set of religious devotional practices that are conventional within their culture and related to a particular figure, and often associated with a particular place.

The Jodi Arias Case
Now the only person that calls this case the real life "fatal attraction" is me, but after you read this post you may see why I call it that. There had been Dateline episodes and Lifetime movies done on this case because it was that crazy and brutal. I honestly think that Jodi is a crazy person who needs some mental health help. It is actually more common that spirits can haunt an object than possess it. I believe that is what happened in the case of Annabelle the doll. It is also common for objects to be cursed.

The True Story of Verónica
So if you don't know what this movie is about it's a Netflix movie about a girl named Verónica who get's an evil entity attached to her. This spirit came to her when she was trying to contact her boyfriend and ended up contacting her father instead. She ends up dying a few months later. People believe her death and the Ouija session are tied together because there was no other explanation to her death. It is an unsolved case because people are not sold on the idea of a evil spirit murderer. Her name was changed for the movie, her real name was Estefania Gutierrez Lazaro. She lived in Madrid and went to a catholic school.
