Once upon a time, in a small suburban New York town a middle aged mom sat in a soft posh arm chair looking out her living room window at the afternoon rain. She found herself stuck in a trance of boredom she hadn’t experienced in a very long time. Nestled in her favorite bathrobe which had become her daily pandemic attire she took a sip from her second cup of tea when a peculiar character strolled through her mind.

Till We Meet Again
I paused for a few seconds at the foot of the front steps to an old brick apartment building. The air was brisk and the night oddly calm for this part of town. A heavy and cloudy sky stretched out like a blanket as far as my eyes could see. Usually I’m the one with sight but tonight I felt a presence in the air and it was I that was being watched. I could turn back now and pretend I came down with something. I had the notion to leave this one alone but I also had this intuitive feeling that I would find what it was they were looking for. Snow began to fall prompting me to escape the chill so I decided to follow my curiosity. I climbed the stairs and rang the doorbell.

Dragon Star

Before I ever got to see the world I had already seen it’s end. That day would forever be etched in my mind. My last day amongst the world of men.”

Crown
In his right hand, cupped in his palm was a small copper bowl filled with fragrant burning incense. As he walked toward the alter the smoke rose and danced in the air creating a screen across his tattooed face. His steps were patient and rhythmic, the hem of his red satin robe trailed behind across the mosaic floor.
