My name is… Better I say it not. If one of the sisters finds my scribbling, and it has no name on it, I can widen my eyes and say, I don’t know how that got there! Whoever could have written such things? But if my name is upon it, that would be terrible, no?

Real feelings flow off the page here. Love this!

  • Her preference for seeing God is so similar to mine for seeing both God & church: not like the church where I grew up where any disturbance from a child brought glowers from all over & a hasty retreat toward a spanking, but like the church I attend today where the presence of children brings out bushels of smiles & where any disturbance they cause is simply a joyous reminder that we are family. I loved this, L.C.!

This was incredibly empathetic, LC, like you got into the girl’s head. I was enthralled.

This is brilliant, LC. I feel her longing! I amazed that you managed to post this on a day when it was almost impossible to simply write a comment or two on the platform!

  • This is my first ever dip into the Pride community. This one probably should have been posted in Fiction, but there's no Pride tag there, and there IS a Fiction tag HERE. So there we go. Look out for Part Two tomorrow!
