Tomorrow, I'm going to die. What a weird thought to think. I think it looking out of these boring blinds at the boring sky.

I am a bit confused, so she looked like a person, going on dates, but is a symbiotic computer shell. I totally get wanting to just shut down though/.
Wow, you out did yourself on this one. She was living like a computer for sure except she had parents. A father who was not completely there like an empty shell.
Wow, this was brilliant! The ending line a perfect punch. So sad too and thought-provoking. I got chills.. this could really happen at some point in the future.
What a chilling, emotional, and moving story. This is an example of great writing.
Congrats on the honourable mentioned. It's well deserved. This fabulous. I felt so sorry for the little girl/computer.
Another brilliant story.
This was absolutely brilliant. I’m not surprised they gave you an honourable mention. It was such a bleak story and you captured her feelings so well. I really enjoy your daily microfiction but this was another level.
Such a sad story... You really have a knack for capturing the psychological detail. Well, now I have read it all, can we not get married? Pretty please!
I felt it was selfish of her parents to put her in that Shell and force her to try to fit in. I think she'd be happier if she just died. Congratulations on your honourable mention! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
This is a truly remarkable story, LC. It's a pity that so many people on vocal don't think they can spare 13 minutes of their lives to read a story as deeply human as this one is. I honestly feel sorry for them for missing out.
This was incredible! It captures all of my fears around this concept but in such a meaningful way! This is one of my favorite pieces you've made!
What a great idea for a story, LC. I really enjoyed this one! There was a range of emotions and realizations that gave an poignant impact to what you wrote.
Impactful!
You captured such depth and tension, emotional rollercoaster, well done!
