Beware of Dragon- Dark Forest
It’s been years since one of the two-legged monsters has dared to grace my forest. The Dark Forest, they call it. Rumors abound of the place being haunted by ghosts and other more sinister things, when in reality, it’s simply where I make my home. Humans, they call themselves. Monsters is more accurate, but I digress.

Lost in Space
“Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. What they don’t tell you is that the scream has to be outside your own head for it to go unheard. The vacuum absorbs all external sound, but when the sounds come from the screeching in your mind and soul… from the realizing, for the first time, that your mortality isn’t just some sick joke… well, that’s when you can hear sound in a vacuum.”

The Final Elemental
The throbbing in my head is the first thing I notice as my aching eyes flutter. The dryness of my eyes and sticky liquid dripping down my face is the second. Groaning, I let my head drop back, the motion aggravating the incessant pounding in my brain. I wait a moment before attempting any further motion, hoping in vain that the angry gnome in my skull tires of pounding on his war drum.

Mixed Emotions
Dear President Donald J Trump; Like most presidents in recent years, your time in office has been plagued by conspiracy theories, turmoil, and change. You’ve left a legacy behind that will never be forgotten, some good, but most of the good you did will be overshadowed by the overwhelming negativity perpetuated by you and yours. Comparing you to recent presidents Obama or Bush seems almost sacrilegious, like it lessens the impact they had on this country, but how can we discount the impact you’ve had?
