The Hole of Melton
Part 1 There was a flicker of light beyond the trees. It was bright enough to catch Lauren’s eye as she crouched in position, awaiting her next prey, if it could be called that. This was not the way life was supposed to go, but since the hole opened up in the center of town, anything was possible.

Samhain
Bonfires were ablaze. The scent of smoke wafted through the air. Despite the thick clouds that billowed forth, the moon and stars were all easily discerned in the night sky. They bathed the earth in an eerie glow, amplifying the sounds of the chants that chorused down the streets.
