Patience is the Key
A morning cup of Joe is essential for starting any day off right. It’s hard for me to stop at one. If one works well, wouldn’t two work even better? Plus I like the taste. Over caffeinating myself for years gave me the false belief that I could get more done in less time, burn the candle so to speak at both ends, work hard, play hard and not have to suffer consequences. The worst thing about overcaffeinating myself is that it tends to make me impatient, even anxious.

An Artist’s Hug
When I met John, I was visiting Jen, a former co-worker on the Cape, still drinking frequently in bars. and we went to watch the Patriots and have a few beers at the Beachcomber in Wellfleet. I’ve Been Waiting For You All Along
I was sick of riding around in circles in the small indoor arena, staring at the weathered, wooden walls and the dirt like footing. As I tacked up Jinx his autumn coat stood up reddish. brown, soft and fluffy, reminding me of my favorite Gund stuffed bear I had growing up.
