The Summer Solstice
There's something particularly magical about the Summer Solstice. It is the day where the sun shines the longest, the seeds of the Spring Equinox begin to bloom, and the warmth of Summer has finally arrived. It also happens to be the day that I was born.

2021: The Art of Deliberate Creation
Dear @bosskatie of 2022, Wow. I can't believe you've actually made it. From where you stood at the beginning of 2021, to where you are now (one year later), it's like you've stepped into an entirely new world. A completely new reality that at one point only existed within your mind. Our mind. My mind right now, visualizing you, standing there on your balcony, reading this letter, smiling.

To all the Darling Daughters
The joy of Christams, for me, has never been about receiving gifts. Growing up, my family had traditions, like finding the perfect tree at a local tree farm and having snowball fights while we searched. We would make snow angels and run around until that perfect tree called out our names. When we got home with the tree, we would give it water and light it up with decorations. It was never long before gifts started to appear on the red velvet skirt, growing in volume as we got closer to the sacred day. I remember staying up late on Christmas Eve to help my mom put the final touches beneath the tree, and the treats out for Santa. Oh how I miss the smell of fresh pine and apple pie. Like I said, it was never about the gifts.

OSEA & Gua Sha. Third Place in Holy Grail Challenge.
Many stories are told of treasure at the bottom of the sea. Whether real gold or seaweed, I believe this to be true. When it comes to skin care, the skin needs to breathe. This is why I choose OSEA for my skin care routine.

Go, Think Media!
As an aspiring YouTuber, I am one of those people who spends several hours a day surfing channels and gaining inspiration from my fellow Tube Buddies. Out of my lengthy list of subscriptions, Think Media ranks at the top. Think Media is a YouTube channel for creators, by creators. They cover every topic you can think of that has to do with running a successful YouTube channel. From gear (whether on a budget, or ready to upgrade to professional equipment), to lighting, audio, editing, publishing, and optimizing your searchability, Think Media has it all.

Why my sister is the Best
To my best friend and baby sister, The day you were born, my life became infinitely more blessed. You were a little ray of sunshine, that would one day grow up to be a beautiful beam of light. If it weren't for you, I would not be who I am today. You have helped shape me since this very hot August day, 1993, and for that I am eternally grateful.

Two Golden Nuggets. Third Place in Pets Welcome Challenge. Top Story - June 2020.
If you had asked me two years ago, “Katie, would you ever have a cat?” I probably would have laughed. Now, I have two. Two beautiful golden nuggets of joy that I simply cannot get enough of. Every morning I wake up to their purrrrs and every night I fall asleep to their cuddles. I’m sure everyone says this about their own pets, but I believe I have the most amazing cats in the world. I am officially a crazy cat lady at the age of 30.

Love more, Live longer
During times of chaos and distruction, my mind continues to come back to one place. What our world is truly lacking is L O V E. Everywhere we go and everything we see seems to be covered in fear. Our food is being poisoned, our media is full of fake news and false information, and people are walking around in masks, afraid to get too close. It breaks my heart to witness elderly men and women shake rapidly at the brush of a shoulder by another. They panic with that fearful look in their eye. What if it happens to me?
