2021: The Art of Deliberate Creation

Dear @bosskatie of 2022,

Wow. I can't believe you've actually made it. From where you stood at the beginning of 2021, to where you are now (one year later), it's like you've stepped into an entirely new world. A completely new reality that at one point only existed within your mind. Our mind. My mind right now, visualizing you, standing there on your balcony, reading this letter, smiling.

Okay, I actually can believe it, because...

YOU REALLY DID IT!

Eeep!

I can feel you taking a deep breath in, with the satisfaction of knowing that you've accomplished everything you set out to do at the beginning of the year. You've manifested your dream home, you've reached 100K subscribers on YouTube, you've grown your online community of festival enthusiasts and social activists that are like-minded as you, and you've even helped others manifest their dreams by sharing your story. That is the whole point, after all. You are an influencer, here to inspire.

Remember back in 2017 when you started your first YouTube channel? Living out of your car, vlogging your experince moving from mom's basement in Washington, to the dry desert of Arizona... just a free spirit living blind on faith. Back then, your dreams of becoming an influencer and a full time YouTuber felt far off in the distance.

Look at you now.

I am so proud of how far you've come. I'm especially proud that you made it through 2020 with a positive mindset and a stronger understanding of who you really are. There is no doubt that 2020 was the most challenging year of your life (following 2019, the second hardest year of your life). Man, the struggle was real. Luckily the transition into 2021 brought the clarity and strength you needed to overcome the hardships and sail brilliantly into the future. All of those obstacles you overcame were lessons to make you wiser, more courageous, and empowered in your truth. Life has to deliver contrast in order for us to know what we do and don't want, and I am truly impressed with the woman you have become through the tough times. You have beautifully aligned yourself to the vision I hold in my mind. You are strong, independent, kind, and are respected by your community for your bravery, your transparancy, and your dedication to serving your mission. Our mission. The mission to teach the world about unconditional love, unlocking your full potential, and realizing how powerful each and every one of us are. The laws of the Universe are real, and we are living proof.

It must be such an incredible feeling, waking up in the beautiful bedroom you had envisioned last year. A large second story room with a balcony overlooking the mystical landscape and the saltwater pool you've been wanting for years. I can just imagine you waking up in the morning, and pushing the long velvet curtains away from the french doors that lead you to such a breathtaking view. Not only does the view itself bring such blissful feelings, but really it's the satisfaction of knowing that YOU manfiested this! Ahhh!

The sweet sensation of knowing how poweful you truly are, and how capable you are of manifesting your dreams.

To be able to start each and every day with a quick asana under the sun is literally pure bliss. Then walking over to the walk-in closet that has an entirely new wardrobe from what we currently own... also bliss! I can feel the joy within my heart as I picture you giddy at the sight of your closet. By this time next year, I know we'll have several brand deals with designers who value sustainability, and are grateful to have partnered with us for content. Not to mention, you have enough money in the bank to actually bask in the glory of buying new clothes. Sponsorhips and shopping sprees.

A dream come true.

I also love that you have finally become a full-time content creator. I am seriously so proud! I remember how daunting it felt at the beginning. Transitioning away from the matrix and into your fully embodied authentic passionate creatrix self. The one who takes inspiration from the ethers and creates magic from the mind. I love that your independent thinking and fearlessness has brought you everything we've been envisioning.

Now, bringing myself back into the present moment, there are several things I have to do to get from here, to where you stand, in the physical manifestation of what is currently a dreamy vision.

Goals to acheive by 2022

1. I have 100K YouTube subscribers on Bosskatie 2.0

This is one of my biggest goals for 2021. I just invested in Sean Cannell's Video Ranking Academy, which is going to help us grow the channel in a sustainable and impactful way. In fact, I am manifesting meetin Sean Cannell in person at the VRA Conference and Mastermind Summit. I have been following one of his channels, Think.Media, on YouTube for about a year, and I have already learned so much. I would love to have a guest appearance on their channel as someone who successfully finished the Video Ranking Academy and came out with better results that expected. I certainly won't complain if I have OVER 100K subs by 2022. This will require posting once a week minimum, and sharing my content as much as possible with people I meet online and in person.

2. I am a full time Content Creator

What exactly does it mean to be a full-time Content Creator? It means that I support myself financially via YouTube, and by creating content for brands that I love (ie. Instagram videos, YouTube and Facebook ads, campaigns and commercials, graphic art, etc.), as well as using my brand, @bosskatie, to create a sustaiable income doing what I love; creating content!

@bosskatie is an online influencer. She is a self-made star; an actress, a model, a singer/songwriter, a filmmaker, an entertainer, a performer, a reality TV star, a festival curator, a public speaker, and a teacher of many things. The whole concept behind @bosskatie, is that she is a 5th dimensional being, here on planet Earth to deliver messages of consciousness and unconditional love through the use of social media and community outreach, primarily within the festival industry. Not only is she a social media wiz, but she also has her own reality show called Bosskatie Entertainment. BKE is a hybrid between reality TV and a series of short films. By the end of 2021, the goal is to have 12 episodes on YouTube, several music videos produced, and a solid pitch for Netflix. Will 2022 be the year of our Netflix deal? Or 2023? Some things I'm not meant to know right now. But I do know the long term goal, and I know the milestones to get there. Hey, congratulations on completing your first season. You rock.

Which brings me to my next goal:

3. I have a media team that feels like family

In order to bring this reality show to life (and to a larger network, like Netflix), we need a lot of help. It is my intention to call in the perfect squad. Other creators who see the vision and have the talent and drive to help it come to life. This first year is all about laying the foundation, preparing for the first season of real life festival filming in 2022. The vision is to have a crew that follows me and my co-star, Aluna Dragon, to these festivals as we expand on our dreams of becoming big time performers. At the end of the year, we will have a solid pitch for festivals to invest in having us appear at their events. Yay!

4. I have successfully executed a Kick-Starter for Bosskatie Entertainment

A Kick-Starter is the perfect way to spread the word of what we are creating. There are a lot of people within the festival industry (and outside of it) who are going to be thrilled to jump on board. I am manifesting investors who see the vision, and the value it will bring to humanity. People who trust in Spirit the same way that I do, and can feel my passion, intention, and deep love for the mission: to inspire, influence, and awaken the masses. The goal for the kick starter is to raise $100,000, but I wont be suprised if we surpass that number. That is how much I believe in this dream, and my ability to manifest reality.

P.S. Remember that school assignment that you had to make as foreshadowing for that Netflix deal you're aiming for? Here's a little reminder ;)

5. I have loving, supportive relationships in my life

Aside from my career aspirations, I think it's important to focus on the other parts of life, like my relationships. I believe that who we surround ourselves with directly impacts our ability to manifest and flourish. If you are surrounded by people who don't believe in you, or who don't genuinely have your best interest in mind, it becomes a lot more difficult to stay motivated and on track. Surrounding yourself with people who are loving, supportive, and encouraging, makes a world of difference. I belive my path is to be a co-creator of this massive dream, so I am setting specific intentions to ask the Universe to fill my life with people who are as authentic and kind-hearted as me. My dream is to help make everyone elses dreams come true, to the degree that I can. Influencers, filmmakers, editors, entertainers, performers, festival curators, and investors... my platform is designed to help other people succeed with their dreams. I believe that we each hold a piece of this beautiful puzzle called life, and we are all destined to fill our own shoes, side by side with one another. I absolutely love connecting and working with people, and witnessing the joy that fills people's hearts when they feel the magic of manifesting. To be a part of that creation is what drives my passion and keeps me going. It's important to have a "why" when you are an entrepreneur, because your why gives you purpose; a reason to stay true to the path when times get tough.

6. I am in the best shape of my life, and have a harmoneous relationship with myself

Relationships are important, but none are more important than the one you have with yourself. I absolutely love self care. I enjoy taking walks in nature by myself, sitting in meditation, doing yoga in silence, connecting with Source, and really sitting with the present moment. These practices are absolutely vital for good mental, emotional, and physical health. It is my committment to self in 2021 to enhance my yoga practice and my superfood consumption. I am dedicated to the discipline that it takes to raise my vibration as much as I can through the care of my body. I bask in the thought of a big beautiful kitchen filled with superfoods and organic produce. Oh, how greatful I am for this manifestation!

I bet you feel incredible, future me. Vibin' SO high.

Side goal: I have successfully done a YouTube vlog featuring Archer Love of Now Alchemy, and have an affiliate deal with his product line.

This is the art of deliberate creation. Visualizing what you want, connecting with your heart, and then aligning yourself with your dream reality. It takes patience, persistence, dedication, discipline, a positive mindset, and the deep inner knowing that YOU are worthy of your dream life. YOU are capable of manifesting everything you desire. YOU are the creator of your reality. And I, Katie Shay, am so damn proud of future me. I know you've made it. I know things are turning out even better than you could have imagined. I know how hard you worked and how many obstacles you had to overcome to get here.

It was all worth it, wasn't it?

And to the many years ahead, may this letter be a reminder of how powerful you are. May we look back, year after year, proud of our accomplishments, honoring our challenges, and perservering into the future, where the manifestations will continue to grow, bigger and better.

This is only the tip of the iceburg for you, @bosskatie. You have one seriously adventerous life ahead of you. No doubt in my mind.
