Arcturus aka Bear Guard
Arcturus is an orange-colored giant star that belongs to the constellation Boötes (Boo-OH-tees). It is located at 24°14’ in Libra, with an orb of 2°40’. It is the fourth brightest star in the night sky being slightly more massive than our own sun, and places immediately behind the constellation Ursa Major. This placement right being Ursa Major is where Bear Guard gets its name from. The word Arcturus originates from the Greek language word Arktouros, with Arktos meaning bear, and Orous meaning guardian or or watcher. This star is one of the 15 Bohemian stars that are greatly known. Even more this star in some beliefs is believed to rule over the stone of Jasper, and the vegetable plantain.
