Will UNO's Show 'Em No Mercy Card Game Amplify The No Friends Trend?
Goodness me. UNO is still a pretty good game, and that all depends as to whether or not you are more inclined to play card games, as opposed to board games. Then again, you need at least a couple more people to play with you, in order to make the game more interesting. In other words, it would be pretty one sided if the other player (only in a party of two) kept skipping and reversing back to themselves. Depending on your mood, that could surely annoy your friend or family member. Or whoever is playing with you at the end of the day. Uno is one in Italian, but it is also a popular card game, created in 1971. Now UNO is upping the ante with a Show 'Em No Mercy edition. (Yours truly is not sure if someone was listening to the song called Show No Mercy, while being forced to (say) chow down some tarantulas for dinner in a foreign country; while coming up with the name and idea for a "supposedly" simple card game, while rinsing the UNO card game inside out, like a spin dry that is turned up way too high.)

Then again, chocolate was regarded as a form of medicine, and truth be known, it was actually a form of currency from the fruit of the cacao trees around 4,000 years ago. The Aztecs were onto something, and no wonder why the "Golden Ticket" is ever so elusive and valuable. Another fun fact: Ruby Chocolate became so popular, that it is low on supply; no different to certain types of honey. (Then again, we still have white, milk, and dark varieties to feast on, and to enjoy).

Fish Therapy (medically known as Ichthyotherapy, or the "holiday" term is a Fish Pedicure and/or a Fish Spa) originated in Turkey, where Garra rufa (toothless) fish have nibbled on the skin of Turkish people for well over 400 years now.

Every student always commences their studies with good intentions, as well as usually making a few sacrifices along the way. Whether you are going to college, or you have enrolled in a small micro-credential like yours truly did; a fact of life is that things do not always go according to plan. According to the Education Data Initiative, 32.9% of college undergraduates do not end up completing their degree. There are many more who would have mentally and/or emotionally checked out of their studies at one point or another; yet manage to continue to persevere and do whatever it takes to pass, and to not drop out.

Case study: Maximising users enjoyment of specialty (Campos) coffee The Problem: Users love their coffee. The research conducted came to the conclusion that 66% of users interviewed enjoy 2-3 cups of coffee a day, equating to around 14-21 cups of coffee a week. Users want to enjoy their coffee for a myriad of reasons; yet they’re not willing to spend any more than $4 for a cup of coffee - even for a large; and yet they still want to consume a quality, speciality coffee bean. These users are busy people and professionals such as Lawyers who are time poor, and of who appreciate the benefits that drinking coffee provides them.

How the UX Design Thinking Process is Applied to Data Visualizations in Data Analytics
With empathy in mind (to begin with); the data visualization in the opening image is great, except for one crucial thing. Can you figure out what that is? It is the use of Christmas colours together, of which is not ideal for those who are colour blind, and for users (in UX Design) and stakeholders (in Data Analytics) with any form of disability impediment. According to Colour Blind Awareness, over 350 million people worldwide are actually colour blind. (On the other hand, the exception to this rule would apply to visualizations' on world maps, for example with global CO2 emissions.) For those of you lovely readers who write for Vocal Media; you will be pleased to know that the bar chart in our writers statistics page is a great example of a Data Visualization gone right. Why? The y-axis starts at zero, because the number of readers reading your work is unknown at any given moment in time; and (furthermore) the bars are easy to spot trends, and most of all, to read.
