The Beginning of Seasonal Depression
The snow is falling as the Christmas trees come up. The world is winding down as you're ready to get on with your new year. Ambition is high, as well as your spirits, but the sun is not as bright as you remember it being earlier that year. You eat your dinner looking out the pitch-black window. Taking a refreshing walk isn't near as refreshing anymore. Holidays bring so much fun and joy, and they also bring stress and anxiety. Wondering if you can afford the best gifts or host your family parties. Shang-Chi and the Best Marvel Origin Story

The Ballad
The day I spoke my first word is a day that I cannot remember all that well. I know it is a real day, or else I would not have been able to speak at all, and I am glad that I can. If it did happen, I must have a memory of it somewhere, would I not? I have been told I have a stellar memory, but I am not so sure I would believe it if God told me himself, just because I cannot remember such an important day. Granted, I was only a babe at the time.

COVID-19 Versus Senioritis
Whether you are waiting for your high school diploma, taking those last few college credits to earn your degree, or have been retired for years, the term 'Senioritis' is nothing new. Defined by Google as a decline in motivation upon reaching the final year of school, 'Senioritis' is one of the most contagious viruses known to man. Symptoms of 'Senioritis' include chronic laziness, persistent missing assignments, and deadly apathy, with very few remedies for existing conditions. According to the Mental Apathy Treatment Hotline (MATH), global pandemics increase the severity of symptoms unparalleled to previous data and 2020/21 patients are unlikely to recover.
