What are You Doing Under There?
As long as I can remember, I’ve hated wearing undergarments. I don’t like getting wrapped up in pajamas either. Come to think of it, I should probably live in a nudist community. No, my loving friends and family, I won’t seriously entertain that notion.

It all started with a car battery. My car was acting up, starting sluggishly. My fiancé at the time, Ted, recommended taking it to the place where I had purchased the battery. He came along for moral support and since, frankly, sometimes women are taken advantage of when it comes to car maintenance. The man at the counter said that he would check it, but that it would take some time – between 45 and 60 minutes. Ted then pointed to an establishment next door and asked me, “Have you eaten there?” I shook my head, “No, not since they’ve changed hands. That building has had several restaurants since I moved here.” There were no chairs to sit in at the auto store, so we decided to try it out.

New Home for Rejected Items
When I was in middle school, all of the girls had to wear gym suits for physical education classes. They were hideous. As soon as I was done with eighth grade, my mother gave mine away. I was happy to see it go, picturing another girl covering up my name and replacing it with her own. Years later, my aunt found it at a yard sale, with my name still on it. She bought it as a gag and gave it to my mom. By then, I had moved from Minnesota to Arizona. Of course, my mom shipped it to me. I had some good laughs over that one. Imagine the indignity of girls going through puberty wearing this:

Say What?
Your palms are sweaty, your brow is furrowed, and your fingers are twitchy, just waiting for your brain to tell you what to do. There's nothing more frustrating for a writer than staring at a blank page with no idea where to begin. Whether you write with paper or on a computer document, sometimes you need a boost to get started.
