Make lifestyle changes first If you’re looking to lose weight, but you don’t have the faintest idea where to start, then you might be wasting your time. You can’t miraculously drop a few pounds if you haven’t bothered to address the reasons why you might be overweight in the first place. Make sure you’re getting all of your basic needs met with a healthy diet, getting enough sleep, and using the right amount of exercise to fuel your lifestyle. This will likely make you happier, more confident, and less likely to put on weight. Your mental health might also have a huge effect on your weight. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or another form of debilitating mental illness, then you might feel out of control. This isn’t your fault, but it’s something you can take steps to improve.
