Hip Hop: State of Emergency.
When I was a small boy in the late 90's and early 2000's, the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. were some of the biggest shockwaves flowing heavy through entertainment and music culture, even in the years after they happened. It was a real taboo to see some of the biggest stars in the world lose their lives in the midst of a real life feud. Tupac and Biggie's deaths were definitely a taboo for the time period, basically equating to the level of urban legend status, but if you fast forward over 20 years later, murders like that of Tupac and Biggie have become an industrial norm for the world of Hip Hop and for that reason alone Hip Hop is in a dire state of emergency.

The Importance of Vacation.
On May 20th 2022 I went on the first vacation I have been on in I don’t know when. On the way home from this vacation I realized for the first time ever why taking vacations are so important as I was enjoying myself. What I came to understand is vacations are not really about getting away, but really just about finding a new way among what is already taking place.

Jurassic World Dominion: A Fantastic Fanale
Jurassic World: Dominion has finally hit theaters worldwide and as a big Jurassic Park fan, I have to say this was a great conclusion to a franchise that has spun nearly 30 years. When filmmakers decide that it is time to close the book on a long standing series that has captivated fans of the world of entertainment, crafting a great finale is no easy job and it takes a lot of work just to hit the right notes to satisfy fans with a proper finale. When putting together the proper conclusion the main tools you'll need is an ensemble of characters, a solid plot that represents the growth and evolution of the story that was there before, energetic moments of nostalgia that are callbacks to earlier points in the series that fans loved, and last but not least, giving all the characters (especially the OG characters) a proper send off. Jurassic World: Dominion uses all of these components just right in this great series finale.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: a brilliant return to the force.
As a lifelong movie geek I have to say that Star Wars is one of my all time favorite movie franchises ever. With it's great sense of story and characters, as well as having a lot of real life messages incorporated into its storyline, Star Wars is not only one of the greatest film brands on a cinematic level, but also on a socially significant level as well. My top favorite character from the Star Wars series has always been Obi-Wan Kenobi. I have always admired him because of his wisdom as an elder added to his days as a young and active Jedi prodigy in my top favorite Star Wars film The Phantom Menace.

City Slicker in a Haystack.
Even at a rodeo I will still wear my Ice Cube shirt with my headphones in while listening to my favorite Hip Hop. This is what I posted on my social media two years ago back in September of 2020 when I went to my first rodeo ever, thanks to some family from the country.
