After 20 Years, Cossy Orjiakor Spills All in New Interview
While the blow-up of the internet and social media has caused it's own share of problems, one thing that it has done is at least give people the platform now to clear up rumors and tell their own side of the story as soon as a rumor or scandal happens. This is not the way things always used to be. Some stars faced very harsh scrutiny and had their names tarnished when soft-sell magazines and even credible newspapers, which were the major source of information back in the day, published damaging claims about them. Once out, it's very hard to clear up a rumor even in today's world. Imagine how it was back then. Once the media painted a narrative about you, that was it and it was very hard to convince people otherwise about that image. That is what happened to actress Cossy Orjiakor and as she is saying now, she was NEVER able to recover from that damage.

In 2021, Netflix released the Nollywood/Bollywood movie Namaste Wahala starring Ini Dima-Okojie, Richard Mofe-Damijo, and a host of other actors from both Nigeria and India.
