Dear Holiday Drivers. Content Warning.
Oh, Lord, it's the holiday season. I don't have the highest opinion on other drivers to begin with, but these last few weeks of the year, it seems they all get so very much worse. Why Do We Stay In Mediocre Relationships?
Today marks 52 weeks since I ended my last long-term relationship (just shy of two years). I remember the day it ended better than most of the rest of the relationship; not surprising, as the relationship, on the whole, wasn’t one that rocked my socks off. We had some good times, some rough ones, and there was definitely some compatibility to it, but, when it all comes down to it, I just wasn’t that into it.

In these final days before Thanksgiving, there's a certain sense in the air. There's a feeling of anticipation, of waiting. It's quite possible there's a good bit of frantic preparation going on in some households today. There's an energy about the nation.
