DRAGON
An angry summer storm flew in from the west just before midday. Arlo ignored the wrath of the storm as sheets of rain pelted down upon his brow. Instead, he watched, mouth agape, at the fat crying toddler that sat unaccompanied in the sprawling, vivid green forest.

Get Your Lull On!
GET YOUR LULL ON To sleep, perchance to dream Hamlet, William Shakespeare Sleep. Lack of sleep has never been a problem for me. In fact, I fear I sleep my life away. I can sleep at the drop of a hat...or the drop of my head as my forty years have illustrated. I've slept through supposed exam study, high stress situations and yes, I've slept at high noon. As such, I have repeatedly disregarded rest and sleep as a priority in my life because I have it in spades. While my New Year's resolutions for myself are usually fleeting and include the aesthetic, this challenge prompted me to reflect on the importance rest serves in achieving our ultimate endeavours. After all, regardless of what shape your New Year's resolutions may take, without regular, eventful rest and by extension, sleep, can any of our other life aspirations ever be fully appreciated?

O To Be Charmed
O TO BE CHARMED Prologue Once upon a time, in a magical land far, far away, there lived a kind and amiable king and his long-devoted wife. You would be forgiven for thinking that, I, Seoras of Draoidheil, am this fine king. No, Sirree. In fact, I was yet to be born. Although, King Dimitri III of whom I speak, was collectively loved by his loyal subjects. Good-looking fellow too from what I was told. Above all else, King Dimitri was the sovereign that united the Men and Magical Beings of this kingdom, having established the equal rights of all. As such, the Mighty Heavens above, which you'll hear more of in this uncommon tale, shined eternal light onto this great land.

Underwear, Outerwear & Travel
I hate packing. In fact, packing and procrastination go hand in hand in my book. Worse still, packing becomes more tedious with age. Let's face it, you grow older and as such, require more external assistance to simply get through your day. What do you need to pack as a carefree twenty-one year old? A smile, LBD, credit card, inherent lightness of being and a clean pair of underwear (the latter being optional dependent on how sunny your disposition is). In turn, packing in your thirties becomes harder still with the stress of kids and their essential items. This includes nappies, spare clothes, ear plugs and Polaramine for both Mum and baby alike.

Stick a Wafer In It
I officially hate whipped cream. In fact, whipped cream is a specious bitch. When my new manager, Nat, unceremoniously pushed me out of the confines of kitchen duties, I took a jubilant step forward towards my coveted friend, 'cold drinks'. I love the customer interaction, the floor to ceiling view of the sunset splintering over the horizon, scouting for attractive men; it can all be found in the industrial cold drinks.

Dear Santa
Dear Santa, Still waiting on that pool. I hope you won't be late with the presents this year Santa because of that covid thing. I hope you don't get covid Santa. That would be really bad. Maybe you should wear a mask just in case. I've put one of my masks in the envelope for you, if you need it. It's got Avengers on it.
