King of Monsters Battle Royale

The trailer starts with Kong in chains on a huge battleship, with voice over by a generic white guy saying "We need Kong, for what's coming". So I'm wondering how they caught Kong, wasn't he supposed to get big as big as a skyscraper, enough to fight Godzilla. Even if Kong did grow to much, how do they expect Kong to beat Godzilla if some humans can capture it. Then we see a native girl that Kong has a connection with. This is a trope that needs to die a cold hard death. Anyways, There is another voice over with a generic white women saying, "Kong and her have a bond and she made a promise to protect her and she feels that Kong will to", awhile showing her alone with Kong on the ship. That is probably the funniest thing, I don't know if they plan to use her as bait for Kong's protection or what but it just sounds dumb to me.
