How to Dump a Mean Doctor
In order to be a happy person, you have to be around happy people who do not have a need to bring you down. Seeking out happiness means you need to be around positive individuals. I had a doctor who said gleefully that without my government help, I’d be a homeless bum. Well, thanks, that’s not funny. She laughed about this way too long, which is why I told her not to speak to me like that. Then I decided after I went home from this visit, to dump her, because I will not withstand being talked to like that.

Telling off False Friends
Telling off a false friend who is clearly not your real friend is quite easy. My real friends respect my boundaries. Some people I’m not going to be friends with ever again since they took up my time, and demanded I go see them rather than them staying longer with me. Just because somebody pretends to reciprocate doesn’t mean that they are a real friend. Frenemies have an agenda and that is to bring you down. They put on a false show of being your real friend. I have had quite enough of false friends who do not claim to like me.

How to Tell a Real Friend
I met some real friends through the frenemy because I saw that they do not share certain traits with them. They are their own people who cope with stuff daily, and don't run away from it, unlike the frenemy. Relational bullies are subtle. You have no idea that they are bullying you until they get underhanded. My friends of today take responsibility for their actions, unlike the frenemy. I like people who bother to express a full range of emotions. These people are normal. The frenemy can’t take no for an answer of any kind.

Why My Clairvoyance Drives Me Crazy
Being a psychic has its perks in that you will never, ever, be surprised by a surprise party. It is very hard to surprise me because it takes me very little time to figure out who is doing that. Clairvoyants receive visions, symbols, and pictures. I get visions of stuff happening to the living, such as when somebody is busy attempting suicide. Oh, that power is just scary because I once saw somebody I knew stepping in front of a car. Let’s not go there, because the issue with this person is pretty crazy-making and this article is not about them, it is about how a clairvoyant perceives things.

My Psychic Brain Didn’t Shut Up in the Past
My brain confused me back when I didn’t know I had schizophrenia, much less was educated on what it was. If I could Quantum Leap-style time travel, I would go back to high school and get myself medication. Back then, I had a hard time with the off-switch. Not being on any medication whatsoever can cause brain damage. Alcohol can also cause brain damage. With schizophrenia, you are already born with structural differences in your anatomy because of the design of your brain since conception. Schizophrenia causes a loss of gray matter in the brain, as well as in the temporal and frontal lobes.

Why My Clairsentience Drives Me Crazy
Clairsentience is all about the gut feeling, or feeling that you get when you meet somebody or walk into a house you are looking to buy. Clairsentients can sense emotions in a person, past, present, and future while not using the five senses to do so. Clairsentience is about aura seeing and psychometry as well. I can see auras, and I have practiced psychometry at a spiritualist church. Some people perceive me as judgmental when I instantly know if I like a person or not just by being around them. This happened to me only recently when a cranky person who was having a bad day wound up asking the “are you pregnant?” question to which my response is “I’m having a lactaid, that’s rude.” I knew she was going to say that. Like my bloating is annoying to someone else. It is a medical condition I have to deal with.

Why I'm Pissed Off at Frenemies
Frenemies are people who claim to be your friend while at the same time undermining you. They act open and honest but they are not being straight with you. In fact, that sort of frenemy will never be straight with you. They try to hide their problems from people. This sort of frenemy pretends they have your best interests in mind when really, that is not the case. Some of them want to throw you under the bus. They may or may not know too much about you. This is why you have to dump frenemies since no good comes out of the frenemy relationship.

Guilt for Feeling Good
Yes, this is a bizarre guilt. Maybe it is related to certain people’s mental health behaviors, I’m not sure. It is truly odd to feel guilty for feeling good, yes? This is what I feel about doing well. The guilt is ridiculous. I’m doing better than I ever have in my life with consistent blood sugars. I’m doing great, in fact. Although my last A1c was a 7.6% give or take an average of 171, I wanted to get that to an average of 150 mg/dl.

Equal Work for Equal Pay
I believe in radical changes with equal work, equal pay. Women get paid less than a man in many areas of work. Feminism seeks to level the playing field. Feminists want to help women climb the corporate ladder as equals to men. But in this political climate where the Republicans couldn’t stand having another liberal for president this time around, women are hard-pressed to find social equality at all. I value my brain and brawn over my body in general. I value my brains more than I value my physical attractiveness. I would much rather be known for academia than my beauty.

Disabled People Need Money
Disabled people need money just like everybody else. Some of us are fairly functional and can handle working. I’m applying as a cook at a chain restaurant. The open interviews are today. My knee is more functional, so I’m making myself get up, get dressed, and go. I will walk to the light rail and take the bus. It’s just one location because there is a restaurant in my neighborhood. I need a fast-paced job that is not boring, that will not stress me out. I’m a good cook, so cooking is it.

Universal Healthcare Now!
Republicans want to do away with gains made in the last decade with the Obama administration. The Republican plan is to do away with cutting the number of uninsured people in the US. Obamacare leaves 30 million people not covered, however, and leaves middle-class Americans with a higher insurance premium to pay off. The United States spends more money on health care than say Japan, who spends too little money on health care while we make many excuses as to why we do not have cheaper healthcare because of the insane prices of prescription medication. Single-payer healthcare is something that scares those Republicans because the government is supposed to regulate the cost of prescriptions as well as medical services. They are terrified of having anything better that serves the people. This is why extremists have to start letting go of extremist perspectives.

Don't Notice People's Disability
I tell people to shut up if they notice my disability in any way. If I’m checking my blood sugar, butt out. Don’t stare. I caught somebody at Pantheacon staring at me at a workshop once and I stared at her back with a dirty look she took amusement with until she turned away. I’m very discrete about doing what must be done. Don’t give me shit for treating lows, unless you want me to die. Don’t give me shit about the way I need to check my blood sugar. Apparently, some people would like to endanger my health if they complain to me about treating low blood sugar. You, sociopaths, are bullies who do not apologize.
