The Fear of Death - That Will Never Go Away
Nobody is sure what happens to people when they die, and that is because, despite religious teachings, we still aren’t sure. Movies like Flatliners (1990) attempt to decipher what happens when we die, as the medical students fiddle around with putting themselves close to death but reviving themselves when they manage to come back from the dead. Humans have a history of a fear of death back when we were hunter-gatherers. Life on this planet used to be very simple before agriculture was developed. As agriculture evolved, we messed up our soil leading to the soil degradation of today.

Delusions of the Human Race
If humans are “rational” beings ruled by reason and logic, we are certainly pushed around by our emotions. For example, humans are delusional about being the only planet in this galaxy with life on it. We came up with the idea of evolution, only to have religious people attempt to deny it because they don’t believe in evolution. In the wake of this discovery, humans do not want to face the real truth. Some feel all deities are false gods, but the thing is, faith is comforting to some people.

Science Has Not Failed Us
Science has not necessarily failed the human race. It is the politics behind new discoveries that fail the human race, not science itself. We have advanced our technology because of the way we work on scientific discoveries. Ever since the invention of iron for swords, the human race has steadily invented other ideas. Science is something we all need to understand. It might yet cure the human race from our sufferings. Scientific advances such as the discovery of insulin helped talented type-1 diabetics remain in the gene pool when before 1920, people just slowly wasted away.

My Contactee Experiences in Yosemite
At two or three years old, my dad took me on a hike through Yosemite, I don’t even remember what trail, but an old family friend might. We got lost for hours. I don’t even know why we got lost. But then one evening in my adult life, on 8/10/10, I uncovered a story that I channeled out of me. I wrote it out while a friend was over that night. I was in bed, alone, and a story poured out of me. Remember this was in the 80s as my birthday is 1981. Virtual reality was an emerging technology at the time.

Eco Criminals
Eco criminals are those who commit offenses such as killing wildlife, dumping pesticides into nature, importing wildlife, disposing of hazardous waste, selling migratory bird parts, and more. Hunters who try to get ivory tusks off of elephants, those who go after endangered tigers, even people who hunt wolves in Alaska, are all guilty of eco-crimes against humanity as well as nature. The other sorts of eco criminals such as people who think water is not a human right to have like Nestle, are still those who do the environment harm. In Africa, they still go around hunting elephants for their tusks.

The Nuclear Waste Problem
At our current level of technology, this planet doesn’t have a solid means of disposing of their nuclear waste. In the United States, this is a huge problem because we have primitive means of disposing of nuclear waste. Power plants use spent fuel pools and have to house nuclear waste until it is cool enough to be transferred to a more permanent storage facility. Another method for the disposal of nuclear waste is reprocessing or breaking down components such as plutonium. Scientists may see nuclear fuel sources as cleaner than fossil fuels but average people see this sort of energy use as dangerous.

For Every Human in the United States
I’ve come to the conclusion that climate change happens all over the planet, not just at home in the United States. The Australian Great Barrier reef is constantly affected by climate problems. The Gobi Desert in Northern China may have rare animals such as snow leopards, and Bactrian Camels, (two-humped camels), but the desert keeps growing.

Soil Destruction
Soil degradation means that soil is not being used to its fullest potential for agricultural use. (Source) This is because soil degradation is becoming a massive problem on this planet. The soil is a fundamental national resource, as the basis for all life on this planet. There is a huge problem on this planet right now with soil management on the forefront. The problem is a decline in soil fertility. There is also a problem with erosion as well as adverse changes in salinity. Water, wind, salinity, loss of organic matter, and more are the cause of soil problems. This can happen in other countries besides the United States.

Groundwater Depletion
Groundwater depletion is a growing problem on this planet today. It comes from, as usual, humans overusing their ability to draw groundwater out of our environment. Surface water is not always easily accessed in the United States. Groundwater is the source of drinking water for half the total population and nearly all of the rural population. (Source) Groundwater depletion simply means that excessive of groundwater is a key situation that needs to be addressed more. Groundwater depletion will create wells that dry up since waters and lakes have less water in it when the water is siphoned. The water quality is not as good as it needs to be because there are increases in pumping costs when there is a sinking in the earth's surface.

Wildlife Goes Extinct on Our Planet
Earth has had multiple mass extinctions. It will keep happening as a natural evolutionary cycle or perhaps because of the activities of man. The Endangered Species Act was set up in 1973 to save us from ourselves because, since the beginning of the 21st century, we have lost 17 animal species. For example, the Pinta Island Tortoise on June 24, 2012, whose ultimate survivor named Lonesome George, died at over 100-years-old. If we do not curb greenhouse gas emissions, we will cause more extinction.

The Overpopulation Crisis
The answer to overpopulation is not necessarily to wipe the planet out with a deadly germ of some kind that can whittle us down. It isn’t even to use war as a way to kill people off slowly. By 2028 we could hit eight billion, the thing is we need to curb our need to have babies.

Domestic Violence Shelter for Those Escaping Families
Domestic violence is a reality in the world today, but not everybody has the strength to get away from an abusive family, especially if you have a disability. I want to help disabled people on SSI start businesses, in order to get off of SSI. This can be hard sometimes because some of us need to maintain our benefits still. Why I want an MBA is for this purpose, to help disabled people start their own businesses. SSI is helpful to those of us with illnesses or disabilities. I ask the current administration to not touch the system since many need it. You said you wouldn’t, so for once, live up to your promises.
