The First 8 Things You Need To Know About Tire Gardens
Tire gardens can be an affordable way to upcycle and create a garden, even in the most difficult of spaces. And while I'll admit my garden started out (and still mostly is) chaos gardening (where we have no idea what we're doing but we're going for it anyway and using Google as our main source of information) I have picked up a few helpful hints that will most certainly help me in the future maintain my staggered and stacked garden for years to come.

Father's Day 2023
I've never had a lot to say on Father's Day. Before this year, it was a day I completely ignored save for the occasional wishing of a happy day to friends of mine who were dads. It just wasn't a big deal to me. But I'm just one in hundreds of thousands of kids whose dads weren't worth a buck... or even a penny. And majority of my friends growing up had dads that weren't much more or were worth even less than mine. It's gotta be a generational thing, right?

River Bend Hot Springs - Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico
A view from the dock of Riverbend Hotsprings It's not often I get to travel and do adult things. I'm pretty sure I speak for most normal adults when I say that. 4 kids or not, today's economy makes traveling too expensive. But, I will say it makes me appreciate it all the more when it happens. I love experiencing new places, food, and people (especially the food part).

Safety City - A Free Kid's Event Hosted by Knoxville PD
One of the biggest issues is and always will be: being able to afford to take your kids to do something fun. Especially in today's age when we struggle to pay our bills. Family time has a tendency to suffer because of finances, and my family is no different.

Space Saving Tire Garden Towers
In a previous article, I told you why I am crazy about tire gardens. They are convenient, low cost, efficient, fun, and have the capacity to be beautiful. And when you have a limited amount of space they are absolutely wonderful with helping you maximize your gardening output.

Of All things, why a tire garden?
You grow what in what? The first time someone told me that I could make tires into a beautiful garden, I had a hard time visualizing it. I had never heard of such a thing. And I couldn’t imagine stinky, dirty, old flat tires in a beautiful flower or veggie garden.

Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Spaghetti Squash
I've never met anyone who said to me: "I hate alfredo." The great thing about alfredo is depending on how you prepare it almost everyone can eat it. But if you're on a diet, it can feel really naughty. And it is. It's creamy. It's cheesy. And if you make it with pasta (fettuccine, cheese ravioli, a yummy penne... really any pasta will do, won't it?) it's really, really...naughty.
