The Peep Show
Car in the drive-thru... Mom adjusts her breasts - nips flash. A man gets a show. (Y'all ready for this little snafu? Me, my mom, and aunt went to McDonalds, and we're sitting in the drive-thru. They are taking forever with someone's order, and we're past the order screen. There's a black truck in front of us. Mom says: "Oh my god, this bra is bugging me. I'm throwing it away when we get home." She reaches down and literally pulls her loose shirt down, and is like, fixing her breasts, pulling them out of the bra and repacking them in there trying to get comfortable. Mom's got big ones, okay? She had to get a boob job to add supportive silicone to help her back. So, those things are pretty noticeable. Especially to the man in front of us in a black truck, who had taken his reflective black sun glasses off, and leaned closer to his side mirror to get a better look at moms accidental peep show. Mom was so embarrassed when we noticed him basically drooling out his window, I thought we weren't going to get our food. LUCKILY the line moved then, so as my Aunt Cathy and I LAUGHED and LAUGHED and laughed some more... we inched forward to grab some fries.)

The (Wrong) Loo
I rush to the loo... I hear a loud flush and see... Men standing to pee! (Based on a memory of being trapped in a stall in the men's bathroom at Sam's Club because I had to pee so bad I didn't notice which bathroom I ran into! I managed to sneak out without anyone seeing me... except an old lady who gave me the stink eye)

I Only Allow That Which Is Good Into My Life. Top Story - October 2023. Content Warning.
I only allow that which is good into my life... This is true for me...now. It took me a long time to get to a point in which I can say, I only allow what is good into my life. I spent a long time allowing things that were not good for me into my life. So long in fact, that I did not know how to filter the bad out. Or that I even could filter out the bad. I had no clue that I could choose what came into my life.

Canceling Cancel Culture and Racism
For me… understanding racism is like being at the zoo and looking at a beast through glass. I was lucky. My mom somehow grew up to be someone who didn’t hate anyone for any kind of shallow reason. I didn’t learn anything from my biological father except how that some people are just trashy. Like him.

The Shows That Got Me Through Covid
I feel like we don't talk about the Covid years a lot. I feel like a lot of us have pushed those dark times under the rug and we are just praying that we never have to go through it again. Sometimes, it can be hard to revisit the dark times.

Family Friendly Halloween Movies
I am a very insistent matriarch about family time. My children are still young, and I am trying to instill in them family values, and the importance of spending intentional time with each other. That way, when they have families of their own, their family is as happy as ours is. I mean, sure, we're still normal and have moments where we disagree with each other...but because we do spend time together as a family having fun, our bonds are strong.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
I love the Kingdom Heart series. There's a lot to it, and while I am still only just actually getting to delve into the series, I am in love with it. My first experience with Kingdom Hearts was when I was younger. Not quite a teenager, but I don't know, it's been a while.

Creamy Cheesy Spinach, Bacon, and Meat Pie
In middle school, we discovered through an unfortunate incident that I have an iron deficiency. For those of you who don't know what lacking in iron feels like, let's just say it's horrible. It's incredible how one vitamin can affect your whole body whether it be good or bad.

It's just my hemorrhoid.
(Photo done by JLN Photography and Digital Services - My best friend and sister!) I am convinced there are three types of people in the world. There are the people who look at kids, cringe, and run far away. The kinds of people who see a pregnant woman and run away from them like they have a contagious and fatal disease. The people who hiss and their skin visibly sizzles and smokes when someone asks them if they ever want kids of their own. And if you ask them if they would ever consider being a teacher? You'd probably get a loathing look that'll pierce your soul with venom.

Canine Convos
Today, the female alpha was praising me for my ability to alert her to the sound of another dog barking so far away, that her feeble human ears could not hear. After I relayed the message to her of the passing stray dogs 3 clicks to the south, she patted my head and said:
