Does Skin Colour Factor in to Media Coverage of Mass Shootings?
There were two mass shootings in the United States this past weekend. Each on opposite ends of the country. On Saturday, there was a shooting in the Brownsville area of Brooklyn during an event called “Oldtimers’ Day.”

911, What Is Your (Non) Emergency?
This morning I read an article about a call that a local police department received on Saturday, July 20, that blew my mind. It seems a resident of the town the department is located in called 911 because the ice cream truck was parked outside his home for what he considered "too long."
