I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I wasn't enough. I'm sorry that I pushed for a relationship you weren't ready for. I'm sorry that I loved you so much it made you uncomfortable. I'm sorry I was depressed and it drove you crazy for months. I'm sorry I thought about a future with you. I'm sorry if that kiss on your cheek may have made you cringe and put the nail in the coffin of our relationship. I'm sorry you have no empathy for someone who has been in your shoes. I'm sorry my love wasn't enough. That I wasn't enough. I'm sorry that the person you actually are head over heels for doesn't feel the same for you and never will.

Her
Butterflies, that's what flutters in my stomach, and my blood rushes through my veins as soon as our eyes meet. Our arms brush against one another, fire explodes upon my skin, holding her close and relishing in her scent, leaving me intoxicated. Her smile captures my attention without provocation, the playful glint in her eyes, makes me smile and feel a happiness I've never known before.

True Love
She watches on as they dance, their hand intertwined, smiling like they're the most important people to each other; and today they are. She goes out to get some air, champagne in hand. she looks up in the night sky and smiles tearfully to the stars, the only constant in her life. She downs the rest of her drink and goes back inside.
