Amongst the dark cumbersome clouds Looming over the fractions of humanity Amongst the pain and not knowing Will I be next?

Self-isolation Our life’s current preservation Health an all-important necessity Relationships a fundamental priority
Grey clouds loom longingly above Darkness shrouds all too well In solace seek sustenance Calmness a deep breath away
When wired to be a good soul Righteousness conveys your core Daily routines lose importance Being summoned how to live
Earth Angels walk amongst us Showing up as loved ones Or strangers that simply pass our way Whether it's for a season or reason
My free spirit calls out Leave the drudgery and monotony Existential repetitions Pointless pontifications Vicissitudes of life
When we lay too deep in our monotone existence Change comes along in full force Surprisingly, unexpectedly and mysteriously
Seek ye seek ye wisdom wanderers Gather ye gather ye lost souls Guide them to pathways of passion Show depths to explore
Live life like a fairy tale Let Disney be for adults too Never wanting to grow up Believing in dreams coming true Prince charmings with hearts of gold
Listen up humans Enough is enough is enough Time to get off this hatred train Time to stop all forms of pain The last year has shaken us all
My beautiful mother Musharif Sultana Bhatti Departed Earth on March 10th, 1998 Time has passed but wounds still surface
When the world is fragmented in darkness When tears flow deeper than waterfalls When a life is taken ruthlessly A last breath stopped callously
