In a moments notice we all come alive, Mothered to life, Fathered with time, What our life holds, we can never be sure, The first few years seem all in a blur,
Rising to the birds, that sing a song or two, weak from that slumber, as the day begins anew, Rushing in a frenzy, a sleeping bird awaits,
Though my eyes are heavy, the vision remains clear, Though my stomach twists from hunger, I feed off glory and victory, Though my feet ache from 10,000 steps,
