Premier League Predictions GW7
Game week 7 kicks off on Friday night with Bournemouth facing Fulham at 8PM (GMT). We'll then see Tottenham Hotspur travel to Leeds United in the 12:30PM kick off slot on Saturday. There'll be just two 3PM kick offs with Arsenal hosting West Ham and Manchester United welcoming Sunderland. Chelsea versus Liverpool will be the late kick off at 5:30PM. On Sunday we'll see four 2PM kick offs. Aston Villa will face Burnley, Everton will match up against Crystal Palace, Newcastle will take on Nottingham Forest and Wolves will face off against Brighton. To conclude the weekend, we'll witness Brentford up against Manchester City.

Over Confident Against Olympiacos
The Champions League is such a wonderful competition to be a part of. A collection of some of the best teams that Europe has on offer, every game feels like you're watching the upper echelon of football. The smaller teams that are a big fish in their domestic leagues, are made to look very small up against some of the heavyweights. But, they'll battle all the same and quite often a shock result will turn up. Arsenal were looking to avoid such a night as they took on the biggest team that Greece has to offer. We sort of have a special affinity with the Greek side as we always seem to play against them. Whenever our paths crossed in the Champions League, or Europa League, we were destined to take them on at some stage. We haven't had it all our own way against them and our most recent meeting proved that no matter how high we climb, they'll always be waiting to make life as tough as possible.

No Nerves Against Newcastle
Newcastle vs Arsenal has seen some of the most controversial games in recent Premier League memory. Penalties, goals, cards, off ball antics, the lot. Newcastle have enjoyed more success in these fixtures too, in recent times. The previous three fixtures at St James Park have seen Newcastle come out victorious, which includes an EFL Cup tie that actually saw the Geordie's beat the Gunners at the Emirates. While both sets of sides were missing players, Arsenal perhaps edged that particular struggle. The stage was set, Arsenal had a chance to capitalise on Liverpool's surprise defeat to Crystal Palace and close the gap to just two points.

Premier League Predictions GW6
Another weekend of football is fast approaching and teams should be more settled in. Liverpool still lead the pack, with the North London clubs faltering at the weekend to grant Liverpool some distance. Bournemouth and Crystal Palace maintain their excellent starts to the season taking fourth and fifth place respectively. At the other end of the table it's relatively unchanged with Wolves, Aston Villa and West Ham making up the bottom three.

Passive at Port Vale
The least glamorous of the domestic competitions, but it is a trophy that can be won and something we desperately need to take seriously. The benefit of the squad overhaul this summer is that our second string team is still very strong, it did have a spattering of regular starters, but the lineup was filled with those who don't often start. Port Vale were in decent form heading into this clash having won three of their last four, but they still find themselves 19th in League One. League position means very little in cup competitions as we saw Manchester United bow out to Grimsby in the previous round. A home fixture with a large crowd could trouble any top flight team that rock up expecting an easy game.

Lining up against Manchester City has never been an easy feat, well post investment era anyways. But, especially since Pep Guardiola took charge, although in recent years we've witnessed Mikel Arteta get one over his former employer.

Premier League Predictions GW5
As GW5 approaches, here's my take on the weekends action. It kicks off with the first Merseyside derby of the season as Liverpool host Everton at 12:30PM (GMT) on Saturday. That's then followed by four 3PM kick offs with Brighton at home against Tottenham Hotspur. We'll then see Burnley at Turf Moor again against Nottingham Forest, West Ham United will taken on Crystal Palace in a London derby and finally Wolves will welcome Leeds United to the Molineux. Manchester United will host Chelsea in the 5:30PM slot. To finish off the football on Saturday we'll see Fulham duel with Brentford in the West London derby. Sunday will see Bournemouth and Newcastle clash as well Sunderland vs Aston Villa. They'll both kick off at 2PM. To round off the football this weekend will be Arsenal against Manchester City at 4:30PM.

Basking in Basque Country
The return of the Champions League. The best club competition in the world. A new season of highs and lows, twists and turns to see who will be crowned the champions of Europe. Last season it was PSG for the first time in the clubs history and the first under the new league format. For Arsenal, they had a memorable campaign, but fell short in the semi-finals to the eventual winners. This season the dream will be to win the entire thing, but we share that ambition with every other competitor.

That's How You Zu It
The first international break of the season has come and gone and the Arsenal squad returned from their travels unscathed. In fact a few of our players thrived while away, Mikel Merino springs to mind after bagging himself a hat-trick against Turkey. This will do wonders for the mental fortitude of our players as they enter a tricky run of games before the next international break. We kicked off our run of fixtures against Nottingham Forest at the Emirates and it's fair to say we got everything we hoped for.

Premier League Predictions GW4
The return of Premier League football after a two week hiatus to accommodate the international break. Love or loathe them, they're inevitable. Personal afflictions aside, I'll be analysing the upcoming fixtures this weekend and give my judgement on what might happen.

10 Arsenal Youth Players To Watch Out For
Mikel Arteta was once criticised for not giving his youth team a chance with the first. I admit there was occasions when we could have absolutely seen a new exciting talent burst onto the scene and give the senior players something to think about. We can criticise all we want, but Arteta sees these players almost every day and he decides whose ready. He's not shy about including some of the youth team in the senior training sessions, we see it all the time. So if a particularly thrilling youngster doesn't get first team football, despite training with them, then he hasn't done enough. Besides, Arteta has well and truly put those critiques to bed given his integration of Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Max Dowman in recent seasons. Those three are still in the infancy of their careers, but they've been given a huge spotlight on the biggest stages to accelerate their path to first team stardom.
