Battle in the Barn
Susan led her team towards the abandoned barn at a full run. They were easy targets, crossing empty fields under a full moon. There was no time to waste. Even one extra second could mean a swift end. Something was coming.

Operation Rescue Locket
Beams of bright white light pierced the blackness, exposing empty streets and abandoned vehicles everywhere they roamed. The alien hovercraft drifting across the sky was always searching for humans. They took anyone caught outside to a processing center. They were very effective at their job. There weren’t many of us left.
