Teaching Kids How to Play.
When I was young, I NEVER, EVER thought I would be the type of parent I am now. I would have absolutely insisted that I would be a very cool and laid back, fun mum who didn’t care about rules, never gave lectures and was always understanding, easy going, and of course, best friends with her kids.

I always hear and read about how “repressing” our emotions is very unhealthy. Emotions like anger, fear, sadness and shame could hurt or offend others, and we don’t want to do that. We don’t want to be judged for these negative (but normal) feelings.

Many people say that all they really want is to “find love”. There are also many who deny true love even exists. But my suspicion is, regardless of which group you belong to, you don’t actually want “real love” at all.
