The Scary Reality of Dietary Supplements
We've all had a rough night's sleep; whether it's related to jet lag, poor choices, or our own biological dispositions – we've been there. And in many cases we've turned to a supplement in order to help our weary mind get the sleep it deserves. For example, melatonin supplements are popular sleep aids. This is probably due to the fact that most people know the importance of melatonin's role in our sleep-wake cycles – but did you know that the concentration of melatonin in a supplement can vary as widely as 83 % less to 478 % more than what is stated on the label?

Ellie
Yellow sun peaks his head over the mountains birds singing in the early morning car rides to Ellie's house sleepy eyes get heavier until I arrive Patchy dry grass cool light blue sky hot air swirling around innocent laughter rings throughout the peaceful neighborhood enjoys our show Dark brown locks flowing in the air running around her house grinning silly smiles passing the day by until I leave — I miss the simple summers spent with my friend.

Storm Clouds
It's an overwhelming sight – the nearly black clouds looming overhead that hunger to block out the sun and pour down onto us an unshakable feeling – one that leaves us empty yet fills us with uncertainty. However – this condition is fleeting. I see through the cracks in the dark sky cover; I allow the cold bullets to reach me. Because my memory serves to remind me of the light blue, airy white, and bright green that follows. And familiarity reminds me further, that there is nothing to fear as a storm begins to roll. I have been here before; I will bring myself home.

A Day in the Life of an Unemployed Artist
I've been unemployed for a little over five months now – it hasn't been all bad though. Thankfully I have been able to focus my time on writing for Vocal and creating YouTube videos; two things I'm very passionate about and bring me joy! But, it can be hard to be productive when you're stuck at home and just kind of figuring things out.

It's Time For a Live Action Gay Superhero
On first impression, you might not expect me to be much of a fan of superheroes and their high budgeted films however, those who know me fairly well know that I actually love superheroes – especially the Marvel movies! I’ve watched almost every Marvel project at least once by now and I’m still not tired of the action! Comics books on the other hand aren’t really my thing, so I’m not super familiar with the backgrounds of characters outside of their respective movies or tv shows.
