Who Or What Is The Woke Mob?
By way of metonymy, the 'woke' mob gets thrown around quite a lot in our modern political arena. So, what exactly do you think it means? And, what’s the best way to capture the essence of the message being conveyed, without being overly (or perhaps unbearably), critical of the Left? I’ve come up with a story to do just that. Periodization Principles
I previously posted an article titled, The Best Time To Go For A Run, where I mentioned the concept of periodization as a factor in long-distance running. Though I never expanded upon this concept at the time of writing, I've since felt it would be rather befitting to explain periodization in a 'nutshell,' for the sake of convenience. There was a hope, and perhaps a dream, once… but those days have gone and passed. Inside the pub he walked into, a slogan runs along the back wall, beyond the pair of giant television screens. It’s written along the upper cornice of the ceiling. It’s short and catchy; something along the lines of: Good beer, good cheer, and a good ol’ time. In this once booming town, all the pubs are now the same; they are vacant; with the exception of a slogan running along the wall, somewhere.

Another take on Poland
There's an article I wrote about Poland, many months ago, that attempts to capture a nation of people from the perspective of an insider, and you can still find it when you click my name and search through my published stories. In fact, I’m regularly in touch with extended family, and I hear first-hand accounts of the situation back home, as well as the war going on in Ukraine; not to mention that I've visited Poland on numerous occasions. With this being the case, and with my being careful to spot misinformation from abroad, I plan to shed some light on current events, namely: Putin's Invasion of Ukraine. An Unexpected Encounter with the Great Blue Heron
I first spotted the bird from a distance of roughly 10 meters as I floated in the water. The water was calm, but a slight current on the surface drifted my watercraft closer to the bank. It was not strong enough to have any real sway, so I stopped paddling and paused to watch the bird.
