BAR Pizza
The entire world may say that the best pizza is in New Haven, Connecticut. And they are correct. Living in downtown New Haven (emphasis on the HAY-ven, not NEW Haven) for the past decade has afforded me the luxury of being in walking distance of the best pizza the planet has to offer.

Meditation should be simple, accessible. Maybe something you can do while multi-tasking. The way I see it, meditation is like opening that slot at the bottom of Connect Four to dump all your thoughts and have a clear head. Maybe it is that easy, just something to take your mind off your life for a bit, in which case it becomes widely available. Going for a walk, drawing a picture of an apple, or listening to music are simple activities that bridge the gap between transcending the universe and your everyday life.

Ledger
Against my better judgement, I died on a Thursday. There was no fuss about it; one moment I was looking across the sea, there was a blackness, then I was eternal. I barely even noticed. It was a beautiful scene though - me standing there bundled in my winter jacket, clutching my little black book, looking out over the endless expanse of water and ice. The book had been my travel companion up until here. Where “here” was I wasn’t entirely sure, somewhere in the north Atlantic, hundreds of miles from shore.
