The cause of the disaster was believed to be an iceberg, but recent scientific findings debunk this theory. The Titanic was a massive ship, measuring 882 feet 9 inches long, 92 feet wide, and 175 feet tall. It had four smokestacks weighing 60 tons each. The ship was considered indestructible, with numerous passages and decks that took weeks to navigate.
