New Girl: Chapter Twenty-Three
The moment Silvia saw Lucita, she grabbed her by the arm and dragged her someplace private. Lucita looked at her, confused, wondering what was going on. Lucita really hoped nothing was wrong. She really couldn’t handle any more drama. She had enough problems to deal with.

Review of 'The Blonde Dies First'
As a slasher and huge Scream fan, I can honestly say The Blonde Dies First hits all the notes. Storytelling The story follows Devon, a queer girl who likes to be crafty and crazy with her looks. This includes dying her hair and eyebrows to a blonde, making her the token blonde girl of any horror film.

New Girl: Chapter Twenty-Two
There wasn’t a single cloud in the bright blue Floridian sky. Glasses on, full tint, book in her hand, she sat by the poolside tanning. She wasn’t fond of tanning, but it was an excuse to get out of the house. As she sat there, a familiar face appeared. She hoped she wasn’t dreaming.

All of her credits, everything she had worked so hard for, gone, leaving her to repeat classes she had taken. What a rip.

Blake and Lucas were really going at it. Finally, Lucita caught sight of her and approached them, shoving everyone out of her way.

Review 'Legends & Lattes'
Legends & Lattes is an absolute delight; from beginning to end, this novel is worth reading. Storytelling If you haven’t already gotten that, I absolutely loved this novel. This novel is hands down one of my favorites, marking Travis Baldree as one of my new favorite authors.

New Girl: Chapter Nineteen
For once, Luci was happy to be at school. Everything was working out. She had a boyfriend (although it still stunned her how easy that had been), and her two closest friends were speaking again. She felt like she needed to contain herself, but she couldn’t. Nothing could possibly destroy her good mood.

New Girl: Chapter Eighteen
Lucita woke with a start. She hadn’t had that nightmare for months. But, whenever she had it, all that old hatred and resentment flooded. Made her angry and scared. It was the same dream every time, and she woke up scared and angry. All of which was directed at one person. Cyrus. He had treated her poorly in middle school, so poorly that she had become depressed and suicidal. Lucita felt pathetic.
