On The Right Path
Decisions in life are one of the most important things to me. Sometimes I find it so difficult to make one, anxious about it being the wrong one, that I make no decision at all. All of our choices, confusions, crossroads, and even coincidences lead us right to where we need to be. We are always exactly where we’re supposed to be, or so I do my best to believe in that theory.

4 Seasons in Rural USA
Welcome to Pomeroy Welcome to Pomeroy, Washington; a town of about 2000 people. The one high school in town has a graduating class of 27 this year. This is the kind of place where one minute you're on the highway, then all of a sudden the speed limit changes to 25 mph, then suddenly you're in a town. Pomeroy. There are no traffic lights because traffic does not even exist. Everybody knows everybody and they are all constantly in your business. This city, I mean small town, is like a giant high school for adults. I sometimes call it "The Twilight Zone."

The Ultimate Uber Experience
Welcome to 2018, where at the touch of your finger, you can hail a ride from a complete stranger. That stranger is me. I was driving for Uber in my spare time, mainly for entertainment, but the extra cash didn’t hurt. To be quite honest, I’m actually the worst Uber driver, although my ratings wouldn’t confirm that. I constantly get people lost but I distract them with jokes and my Bostonian charm, so it’s like they never even know. And somehow I pulled through with a 4.9. I love just chatting to people about whatever it is that they bring up. I’m a great listener and sometimes, people just really need and would like to talk about themselves. I was there for it. I was getting paid for it. And I loved it.

Bud Light Orange - Just in Time for Summer
Hi, my name is Jerrica and I hate beer. Ha. I drink it every now and then because I’m cheap and beer is usually cheaper when you go out. What’s better than a $2 PBR? Well honestly, lots of things are. But my bank account and my frugal ways surpass whatever my taste buds have to say. Well, not always, but definitely if I find myself going to the bar more than twice a week. And as long as it contains alcohol, it shouldn’t matter right? That sounds absolutely ridiculous but hey, a broke chick has got to do what she’s got to do to get a buzz going on a budget. Plus, if you get a beer at the bar, it’s probably better to sit on that one drink than to down eight margaritas in two hours, which... ya know... guilty. 😳

Culture Shock in My Own Country
After spending about three years living abroad in South Korea, moving back to Massachusetts was easier than I expected. I mean, of course it was strange at first. I could understand the conversations occurring around me, I instantly took my shoes off when I entered a house, and I became lazy again—driving anywhere and everywhere, even to stores I could easily walk to. But, I lived abroad in a city and I came home to a city and I feel as if that was helpful enough in ridding myself of any culture shock. After a few months of being home, I decided it was time for a new adventure. I have this habit of throwing myself into new environments and situations and hoping that I’ll float instead of sink.
